Highlights of Italy

Day 1: Arrival in Rome

Transfer by private car to hotel.
Note: We will provide you with sightseeing suggestions depending on your arrival time.

Day 2: Rome

Inclusions:

• 2 day hop-on hop-off bus pass OR 2 day public transport pass with entry to Colosseum
• Group evening walking tour (3h) OR Group walking street food tour (3h)

Day 3: Rome(Vatican City) to Florence

Visit Vatican City – St Peters Basilica in the morning.
Inclusion – Skip the line Vatican Museum (incl. Sistine Chapel)
In the evening, transfer by high-speed train to Florence (1h30).

Day 4: Florence

Inclusions:

• 1 day hop-on hop-off bus
• Skip the line ticket to Academia Gallery (Michelangelo’s original statue of David)

Day 5: Florence (Excursion choice)

Chose any 1 excursion from the following:

• Full day guided coach trip to Tuscany incl. Pisa, Sienna, Sam Gimignano & Chianti wine tasting (12h)
• Full day guided group tour by train to Pisa and Cinque Terre villages (along sea coast) (12h)

Day 6: Florence to Bologna

Transfer by high-speed train to Bologna (0h40)

Inclusion – Group walking tour (2h)

Day 7: Bologna (Excursion choice)

Chose any 1 excursion from the following:

• UNESCO listed cities of Ferrara (renaissance architecture) and Ravenna (famous for its Mosaic tiles)  (Non-guided basis) – Included
• Fully day guided coach food (Parmesan cheese, prosciutto and balsamic vinegar  factories) and Ferrari Museum tour (€100 supplement per person)
• Full day guided coach tour – Ferrari, Lamborghini Pagani Factory and Museum (€200 supplement per person)

Note: Some Bologna excursions have a supplement due to the varied nature and prices.

Day 8: Bologna to Venice

Transfer by regional train to Venice (2h)
Inclusions:

• Group walking tour and gondola ride in Venice (2h30)
• Murano & Burano [Unguided – Water bus pass included]

Day 9: Venice to Milan

Morning – Skip the line ticket to Doge’s Palace
In late afternoon, transfer by high-speed train to Milan (2h30)

Day 10: Milan

Inclusions:

• 1 day hop-on hop-off bus pass
• Duomo [no access to Rooftop]

Day 11: Milan (Excursion to Lake Como)

Full day guided coach tour to Lake Como (boat ride included) (9h)

Day 12: Departure from Milan

Transfer by private car to airport for return flight.
